We received information that Samsung Galaxy S3 will receive an update to Android 4.4.4.
Unfortunately there is a catch.
Only the Korean version will receive the new system.

Most Samsung Galaxy S3 users will be disappointed, but their is a good reason why the international version won’t receive this update.

The Korean verson of this phone has 2 GB of RAM, while the European version has only 1 GB.
It isn’t enought for the new system to work correctly, so there won’t be any update for the international version.

If you have a Korean version the following Android version will change a couple of things in your device.

The update carries a build number E210SKSUKNI3 and is available either via OTA or KIES. In addition to bug fixes and slight boost in performance, Android 4.4.4 KitKat also brings security fixes.
